- Stage 12 of The Pekoe Trail is now open to the public following recent clearing and safety checks, the trail is once again ready to welcome hikers.
- Due to changing weather conditions in the Central Highlands, hikers are advised to exercise extra caution on the following stages: Stage 2, 3, 4, 9, 12, 17 & 18. Trails may be slippery with reduced visibility and sudden rainfall.
- Trail Maintenance Update – Overgrown areas of Stage 2 were cleared and are now accessible for trail users.
- Respect the trail and its communities: Stick to marked paths, avoid littering, and don’t give money to children. Let’s support local communities in sustainable ways!
